  • Counsellor

    Michelle Cuneo is a skilled and compassionate counsellor who helps clients face life’s challenges with clarity, confidence, and purpose. With a master’s degree in communication, postgraduate qualifications in counselling, and over 15 years of experience supporting individuals in disability and community services, Michelle brings academic excellence and practical expertise to her private practice.

    Her work with people from diverse backgrounds has shaped her ability to offer tailored, respectful care, grounded in empathy and understanding. As a counsellor registered with the Australian Counsellors Association, Michelle uses a person-centered, trauma-informed approach that incorporates evidence-based therapies to support her clients’ unique needs.

    Known for her warm, insightful approach, Michelle empowers clients to uncover strengths, build resilience, and develop meaningful solutions. Whether seeking clarity, guidance, or practical tools for growth, Michelle provides a safe, supportive space for transformative conversations.

  • Counsellor

    Simon Rowe (the Venerable Daiju Zenji) is an Australian-born, Japanese monastery-trained Monk of the Rinzai Zen Buddhist lineage. He has decades of experience teaching meditation in Buddhist Monasteries and communities across Japan, India, the USA, Europe, and Australia. Simon brings a unique blend of traditional Zen practices and modern psychological approaches to his counselling. His background in blended Eastern and Western traditions allows him to offer a holistic, diverse approach to personal development and mental well-being. Simon provides a calming, contemplative space where clients can talk, sit, and centre themselves, helping them reconnect with their inner peace while integrating Zen awareness with conventional therapeutic techniques.

    Specialising in: Spiritual & Personal Crisis, Grief & Loss, Death & Dying, Relationships & Family, Men’s and Adolescent Health. He is LGBTQIA+ and Neuro-spice friendly.

    Sessions can be conducted in-person or online.

Men also have the responsibility to recognise when these are issues that need to be explored in a judgement free space. Simon’s counselling approach focuses on men’s mental and emotional well-being, helping men navigate the unique challenges we face. This way Simon helps build emotional strength, resilience, and self-awareness.   • Simon offers a grounded and judgement-free space for adolescents to explore their emotional and mental well-being. A safe place for young people navigating the challenges of adolescence, from stress and anxiety to self-identity and relationships. Simon’s sessions empower teens to build confidence and clarity as they shape their futures. His approach fosters resilience, mindfulness, and emotional growth in the face of life’s transitions. As adolescents and their parents negotiate new roles within their family Simon can be a neutral voice to facilitate the growth of mutual respect and responsibility.

  • Along with the relief that comes from having one’s ADHD diagnosed and treated is a series of other challenges are also uncovered. Often the sudden clarity that follows triggers a cascade of challenge and often creates crisis situations. Simon offers ADHD coaching that combines practical strategies with the principles of Zen meditation, he has successfully used these techniques for 35 years to manage his own ADHD. This approach helps individuals manage focus, time, and emotional regulation. Clients learn how to navigate the challenges of ADHD, whether medicated or not, whilst embracing their strengths. Develop personalised strategies to improve daily functioning and emotional well-being with Simon’s compassionate coaching.
