National Reconciliation Week 2022

Cultural Awareness Day

Reconciliation Australia’s theme for 2022, “Be Brave. Make Change.” is a challenge to all Australians to Be Brave and tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation so we can Make Change for the benefit of all Australians.

Visit the Reconciliation NSW website here.

At Coast & Country Primary Care we are committed to playing a role in collectively building relationships and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s, histories, cultures and futures on the Central Coast and Mid North Coast.

One way CCPC is showing up for First Nation’s peoples is through our Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group, which for the first time includes First Nation’s members from outside of CCPC to support our cultural learning, and awareness of opportunities, in partnership to Make Change. We will officially kick off with the new RAP planning in mid-June.

To mark the start of Reconciliation Week, we are hosting a Smoking Ceremony at our Erina Office, at 10:30 AM, Friday 27th May and everyone is welcome.

CCPC is also supporting our friends at Coast Shelter at the Reconciliation Week Gathering at Gosford Waterfront Park, 10:30am on June 2! If you work in the Gosford CBD you are encouraged to walk from your offices to the park together.
