Mental Health for Aged Care Residents

Service Locations: Central Coast

What is Mental Health for Aged Care Residents?

We offer a variety of services to residents, their families, and carers, including:

  • Clinical Mental Health Services for residents with experienced Psychologists, Social Workers, or Mental Health Nurses offering visits to the facility.
  • I Hear You (Group Counselling) for residents, their families, or carers that have newly transitioned to an Aged Care Facility
  • I See You (Digital Story Services) provided by volunteers who visit residents over a few months to develop a video about their life. This is based on the understanding that the telling of one’s story is a means to reaffirm identity, uniqueness, and lived experiences.

Mental Health Services can help with the emotional transition into a facility, as well as with feelings of sadness, worry, and distress.

About Mental Health for Aged Care Residents

This can help with the emotional transition into a facility, as well as with feelings of sadness, worry and distress.
