Our Respiratory Clinic has received confirmation from the Federal Government that we will be receiving the Pfizer vaccine for our Erina clinic. In preparation for receiving the doses, we have started registering interest from members of the community who are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine, with an expectation to commence delivery from next week.
Executive Manager David McLeod says, “We will continue to provide AstraZeneca vaccinations for those who are 50 years and older, as well as patients who are under the age of 50 where the benefits are highlighted. If you have any questions about different types of vaccines or your eligibility, you can book an appointment to speak with one of our clinicians”.
Since opening the vaccination clinic in March, we have administered over 7,000 vaccinations to the local community. If you are experiencing cold and flu symptoms, you can also be tested for COVID-19 at the clinic.
Expressions of interest for the Pfizer vaccine can be made online. Patients who register will be contacted when appointments become available.
