This year marks the 20^th year of the recognition of the Reconciliation movement. Reconciliation week is 27^th of May to the 3^rd of June and The National Reconciliation Week 2022 theme, “Be Brave. Make Change.” is a challenge to all Australians to Be Brave and tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation so we can Make Change for the benefit of all Australians.

Coast Shelter wanted to highlight Reconciliation week this year by inviting the community of the Central Coast to come to Gosford, walk down to the Leagues Club Park to Acknowledge and participate in Reconciliation week. Last year with The Glen and Catholic Care we Acknowledged Country, played the Didge and the men from The Glen had us all participating in their cultural dance. We had an amazing response to this gathering and we feel with the whole community being connected on this significant day will absolutely enhance Reconciliation and our community.
