Respiratory Clinic

What is the Respiratory Clinic?

The Respiratory Clinic provides a centralised and specific service to people that require COVID-19 testing.

Led by local GP’s and supported by experienced nursing, paramedics, and administration staff, the clinic has the capacity to test over 300 patients per day.

The clinic is free to attend for Australian residents with a Medicare card. We will assess people with mild to moderate symptoms, including fever, cough, sore throat, and shortness of breath, and others who may require a COVID-19 test. People with severe symptoms are encouraged to consult their usual GP or attend the local emergency department.

About the Respiratory Clinic

Central Coast Primary Care has established a COVID-19 Testing Respiratory Clinic. The clinic eases the burden on local Hospitals and General Practices by providing people who might have respiratory symptoms a place to seek testing for COVID-19, without bringing them into contact with healthy members of the community in Hospital or GP waiting rooms.
