CCPC Welcomes New CEO

This week we welcomed new CEO, Kathy Beverley. Kathy is an experienced CEO and healthcare professional, having worked within the healthcare sector for over twenty years at an Operational and senior executive level in the public and private arenas. Starting her career in speech pathology, she has held a variety of roles, including time as Regional Manager with CRS Australia before becoming an Executive and National Manager with Ramsay Health Care. Kathy was the CEO of Brisbane Waters Private Hospital for six years.

Formerly a Board member of CCPC, Kathy stepped down from that role when the Chief Executive Officer position became vacant. “I am very passionate about this organisation and the great work they do to improve health and wellbeing in our local community”, Kathy said, “The opportunity to take on the CEO role and lead this dedicated team is an honour.”

We have experienced significant growth over the past year, expanding our NDIS operations into the Mid-North Coast, delivering Mental Health Services in Taree and Forster, and opening the Erina Respiratory Clinic to provide COVID-19 testing and vaccinations to the community.

CCPC Chair, Duncan Bennet, said he and the Board are delighted with this appointment. “Kathy is an outstanding choice for the CEO role, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience”, Mr Bennet says. “While we are largely a mental health specialist organisation, we are also committed to providing primary health and community health programs. The Board and I are looking forward to working with Kathy as she takes Coast & Country Primary Care into the next stage of its growth.”

Mr Bennet was appointed Chair of the Board at the June Board meeting following the resignation of long term Chair and Board member Peter Coomber.
